Online service for working with PDF
This site brings together free tools for nearly every everyday PDF task: convert PDF to Word, turn an Excel sheet or a presentation into PDF, make a PDF from photos, split or merge documents, compress a file for e-mail, add or remove a password. Everything runs in the browser on desktop and mobile — no software to install.
What happens to your files
Files are processed on our server in a background queue and are never published. Uploads and results are deleted automatically within 48 hours. Passwords for protecting and unlocking PDFs are stored encrypted only while the task is queued and are erased right after processing.
Why it is free
The core tools are free and need no sign-up: no watermarks on results and no daily operation limits. Total upload size is up to 100 MB, and multi-file tools accept up to 20 files at once.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need an account to use the tools?
- No. All PDF tools work without registration: upload a file, wait for processing and download the result.
- How long are uploaded files kept?
- Files and results are deleted from the server automatically within 48 hours. We never publish documents or share them with third parties.
- What is the maximum file size?
- Total upload size is up to 100 MB. If your document is larger, compress it or split it into parts first.
- Can I work with PDF on my phone?
- Yes. The site works in mobile browsers on Android and iPhone: pick a file from your phone or cloud storage and download the result.
- Are watermarks added to the result?
- No. Finished files are downloaded without watermarks or promotional inserts.
- Can I recognize text in a scanned document?
- For scans there is the PDF Reader with text recognition (OCR), currently in beta. The PDF to Word and PDF to TXT converters only extract the text layer that already exists in the document.
